Have you ever thought of the effect of smoking on your health and that of the person around you?
Research has shown that smoking is addictive with terrible effects on the mind and body. People are still unaware of exactly how bad it is on their health, although smokers claim that it helps them relax and release stress, the negative aspects of smoking is more than the positive aspects.
To begin with smoking can lead to serious complication which includes asthma, pancreas, affect your lung, and stomach cancer due to the large number of carcinogens (cancer causing chemicals) and other various substances added to it. Smoking is a health hazard for both smokers and nonsmokers and it is also harmful to unborn children for pregnant women. Cigarette contain nicotine, which is the reason people become hooked on cigarettes, nicotine causes addiction to cigarettes, it enters the bloodstream and travels to the brain in a matter of seconds. Furthermore cigarettes contain Tar that contain carcinogen which causes cancer. Tar is also sticky and brown; it stains the teeth, fingers nails, lung tissue which damages the lungs. In addition cigarette contain carbon monoxide which is an odorless gas is fatal in large doses because it takes the place of oxygen in the blood and as such reduces the amount oxygen supply in the body.
They are so many effects that smoking cause on you. Smoking is a habit which smokers find difficult to quit. Many people make preparations for months in their effort to get rid of the habit, Many teenagers smoke because of depression and stress, but they should know by now that smoking kills you from the inside the are many ways to solve problems like those but one of them is NOT smoking. It’s just madness and it will give you cancer and cause other damages to your body, People like teenagers don’t think. Always try to avoid what your friends say about smoking, just thank God for everything, and please stop smoking. SMOKING is BAD for you and it cause damages to your health
