As the world population gets larger and technology keeps advancing, more people are able to do more things that they couldn’t do before. Technology is considered a huge factor for the influence of internet in our daily life, it is great advantage to our modern generation and most of it really helps in our daily routine to make it easier and save time. Technology is a word we use all of the time According to Wolfe, (2010), the percentage of students learning is high if an information or activity they are seeing with the help of modern technology as a learning tool in the classroom increases the interest of students to listen and stir up their intention. Technology has become and became an essential component of technology users, Information and Communication Technology provides powerful tools for access, storage and dissemination of information using the internet.
For information, we can do many things to get different information through various technologies, such as news we can get through radio, television or even our computers, so we also submit resumes to those we like to work, even technology can also help learners because they can use information technology. According to Chen K-Y, Harniss M, Patel S, Johnson K (2014), technology can also be things that are placed in a house or a community like a motion sensor. Devices have been developed that measure movement, completion of tasks, activities of daily living (such as brushing teeth, getting out of bed), and other measures such as heart rate and pulse. When people have this information, they can use it to help make changes and improve their health. This information could be shared with their doctors and other health workers to start conversations about how to live healthier lives. Although many devices are available commercially, projects that look at how these technologies could be used by people with disabilities have mostly been set up in places like university campuses or research labs, so not much is known about the challenges involved in setting up and using these types of technologies in the real world. We wanted to learn more about how easy or hard it might be to set up a system in someone’s home or community.
Communication is one of the primary uses of the internet in business, there are plenty of different gadgets to use to communicate with their loved ones such as mobile phones used to access social media like Facebook and twitter that allows everyone to be connected, so that people can talk and collaborate with other people using the social media which is power of computer and internet technology. According to Chris Blank, as the 21st century continues, it becomes increasingly difficult to imagine how business can be conducted without the Internet. The Internet has transformed many areas of the business arena, and especially communication. By drastically reducing the time required to transmit information over both long and short distances, the Internet has made itself indispensable for commercial endeavors.
The Internet is an excellent example of this. You can buy and sell just about anything over the Internet. Anyone with a computer can sell stuff, and anyone else with a computer can buy that stuff. The Internet knows no geographic boundaries. It’s probably not practical to buy oil and gasoline over the Internet, but you can buy a car that way. Buying and selling are two terms that are often used relatively. Buying is the acquisition of an object in exchange of money, whereas selling is acquiring money, in exchange of relinquishing all claims of ownership from an object, whenever there is talk to buying, there is talk of selling. Buying and selling are two sides of a same coin; when one sells something, someone else is buying it.

Originally, electronic commerce meant the facilitation of commercial transactions electronically, using technology such as EDI and EFT. These were both introduced in the late 1970s, allowing businesses to send commercial documents like purchase orders or invoices electronically. The growth and acceptance of credit cards, automated teller machines (ATM) and telephone banking in the 1980s were also forms of electronic commerce. From the 1990s onwards, electronic commerce would additionally include enterprise resource planning systems (ERP), data mining and data warehousing. A wide variety of commerce is now conducted in this way, such as, Electronic funds transfer (EFT), supply chain management, Internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data interchange (EDI), inventory management systems.
E-commerce now a days operates in all four of the major market segments: business to business, business to consumer, consumer to consumer and consumer to business. Electronic commerce or e-commerce is one who helps our market or sales more effective, because e-commerce use Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) that make your sales global. It improves sales in several ways, it eliminate the suppliers and distributors. E-Commerce enables consumers to buy directly to the manufacturer to lessen the added costs. Buyers can easily compare and easy to find pricing information. Sellers can measure the demand for a product based on irregular rising and falling in price. According to eMarketer Research Company, “by 2017, 65.8 per cent of Britons will use smartphones” New mobile apps such as LINE, WeChat have grown tremendously into ecosystems where hundreds of millions of users and businesses can transact with one another. E commerce is a type of business that used the internet, the activity of e commerce is selling and buying online, it allows customer to purchase products anytime and anywhere, online retailers has no inventory it only send customer orders directly to the manufacture. The best thing in online marketers they can offer low price but great product and high efficiency rates. It is also convenience for customers they do not have to leave home it could also help customers buy wider range of products and save customers time.
The alternative name of online shopping is “e-tailing / electronic retail”, and when it happens through your phones it is called “m-commerce / mobile commerce” it uses software application in short “app”. The first person who developed the online shopping is Ten Summer’s Tales. And one of the reason why customers love online shopping because some online shop have delivery so that our customer don’t get tired when going to the malls or some stores. and others use other social media sites such as Facebook or YouTube, on Facebook they make a group to sell for what sort of stuff they usually sell for second-hand products, in this group invite those who want to join to extend it or want to buy their products, also have YouTube or called YouTube channel where they make blogs to encourage or sell goods.
And year goes by people gradually recognize “Online Shopping”, it allows buyers and sellers to buy goods or services through online using different types of browser. In 2016 online shopping has a larger range; customer can shop through different devices such as desktop computers, laptops, tablet and smartphones. An online shop that buy products or services at a regular shopping center is called business-to-costumer (B2C) online shopping and when the online shop is buying from other businesses it is called business-to-business (B2B) online shopping.
Our proposed system is e-Benta: An Android Based Application for swapping, selling and buying items. The main purpose of these apps is to help people to earn extra income to save their money for some reason. It helps people that need to dispose some of their items in good and useful way and it helps buyers that need a second hand items that are in good quality and has a lower price than the new product, and also affordable for all buyers.
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
The traditional way of buying items is going to the malls or store, event when you when into the malls there are case that the item you want to buy is not in that mall or store, so you have no choice but to go to another, and it costs a lot of time for us to find our needs. Sellers need building or place to sale their items and it is not just place because they need pleasing and beautiful place to encourage some buyers. There are some sellers that has a larger store of building and lots of items to sell and because of that they need lots of workers to have a better transaction.
People have many choices to buy through the internet such as household, attire, gadgets and many more. Now a day’s people are so busy they don’t have time to go to shopping malls and buy the thing they want. This generation, almost teenagers are using the online shopping, the cause of why they use the online shopping is because some of people need to keep their money to have a savings if they’re going to mall the amount of the items is too expensive and some of the malls are too crowed that can be cause of irritation to the customer, that is a some particular reason of the customers. There are some seller and buyers used different kind of social media website example Facebook, they create group for their sales but the problem is it is not easy for user to use because, you can’t filter the item, you need to scroll out to find the item you want to buy.
SETTING OF THE STUDY
This proposed system took place at Nasugbu,Batangas a municipality in the province of Batangas during the time of the research about buying and selling products online. In Nasugbu, there’s a lot of people who are very much interested on online buy and sell.. The internet is widely is used in Nasugbu in supporting the business transactions and communications. With this proposed system all of the residents will benefit because they can be able to access it if you need to find an item you want to sell your things which is not commonly used in your home.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This app will help a person who needs to earn money by selling unnecessary items or things, which can be priced at better price and no wasting time to find the place to build a shop for your business. This app has benefits like setup and operational costs are much less than selling from a physical store, there is no rent to pay, you hire less personnel. Using automation, customer orders can go directly to your products and into the shipping. Online store can improve sales processes considerably, reducing your costs further or selling more products per transaction.
Nasugbu Residence, this research can be beneficial to Nasugbu because it can turn Nasugbu to become more competent in sale using application.
Buyers, it can benefit to all buyers in Nasugbu, because there’s no need to go to the malls or stores buy some stuff.
Sellers, it can benefit to the sellers in the way there’s no need for them to build or make some infrastructure to sell their items.
Public courier, couriers like LBC is can be beneficial by this research because it can be based on what did seller and buyer talked about how to complete the transaction, because they can have cash on delivery.
Future Researcher, future researcher will benefit from the study due to the fact that this research will be using first hand gathered data and was developed through reading and analyzing a good number of written literatures and studies with the guidance of experts.
SCOPE OF THE STUDY
This study will focus on the residence of Nasugbu, Batangas. Our proposed system is an android application named: “e-benta”, where they can create their own account so that they can sell here and also buy items that has a good quality and affordable for the selling, they can post the item that they’re going to sell together with information or specification and even for the buyers they can also view the quality and specification of the item. To seller and buyer they can have a conversation to talk about the item for more information. Buyers can search items based in different categories and can rate the item or the account of the seller so that when buyers see the account that has a higher rate it encourage more buyers, and they can search items base in price and even rate of the items also they can leave comment to for the items for the sellers. This study can eliminate some problems of the existing system, one of that is to avoid too much transport cost, time and even prices of items.
LIMITATION OF THE STUDY
E – benta was designed for all the sellers and buyers in Nasugbu, this system doesn’t have global positioning system (GPS) or tracking device to locate the buyers or even sellers. This system doesn’t have SMS notification. Buyers and sellers can’t have video call in our system to avoid unnecessary conversations

Android app- Android app can be made available by developers through their websites, most Android apps are uploaded and published on the Android Market, an online store dedicated to these applications. The Android Market features both free and priced apps.
Courier – courier is the one who make the transaction easier, it helps sale to become more active everywhere you are, a messenger who transport your items.
E- commerce – E-commerce (electronic commerce or EC) is the buying and selling of goods and services, or the transmitting of funds or data, over an electronic network, primarily the internet. These business transactions occur either as business-to-business, business-to-consumer, consumer-to-consumer or consumer-to-business.
Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) – is an application protocol for distributed, collaborative, and hypermedia information systems. HTTP is the foundation of data communication for the World Wide Web.
M-commerce – (mobile commerce) is a retail outlet to the customer, it is e-commerce conducted to the mobile on mobile phones to become more flexible.
Online Shopping- Online shopping is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly buy goods or services from a seller over the Internet using a web browser
