Schools must demonstrate anti-discriminatory within schools, simply implementing them within school policies is insufficient, as children and young people lead by example. Acknowledging the individuality of each child and their abilities will help with promoting cultural diversity, it is also very important for members of staff to promote anti-discriminatory as we share a duty to recognize when discrimination is occurring. In order to challenge discrimination you have to distinguish discrimination and ensure that is it stopped. If members of staff ignore or overlook it when it happens, this could lead to several issues. Pupils will have no faith left in you to help them which could really have a negative impact on their learning due to the fact that they may not want you to help support them.
